Cloud-based Supplier Documentation Platform
Docfyer was formed at the beginning of 2019 under a Canadian tax number between 2 partners. I co-founded it with these partners to fulfill an existing problem for corporations with multiple suppliers that have various certifications for their products.
The interviews were positive and corroborated by one of the partner's customers who already paid to develop a similar solution, which leads us to create Docfyer.
Docfyer is deployed on AWS and uses multiple services like EC2, ECR, ECS, S3, RDS, Route 53, Cloud Formation, SQS, and other external integrations like Postmark and MailLayerBox. It was developed over the course of a year using PHP 7.2, Angular 2, and Postgres.
We are currently on an MVP phase where we are trying to prove if the system is valid to scale up the investment. The first results showed that, even though we did deliver a user-friendly system that aggregates value to certain people, the market penetration is not easy for this sector.
