I have worked with the User Access team at Planet Labs, where I helped provide the best authentication and authorization (AuthN/AuthZ) services for our users. Working remotely with a team spread across various time zones, we utilized GCP, Golang, and Python to achieve our goals. In this role, I dove deep into Identity & Access Management (IAM) and worked to defend cloud-native principles.

My work at Planet Labs also involved leveraging Google BigQuery to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights. This required a strong understanding of Python, which I utilized to create scripts that automated data ingestion and analysis.

As our user base grew, we faced challenges in scaling up our infrastructure to meet the demands of thousands of users accessing our data simultaneously. However, through effective collaboration and utilizing cloud-native architecture, we were able to address these challenges successfully.

Overall, my experience at Planet Labs has been rewarding. It has allowed me to work on cutting-edge technology that provides daily earth data to enable companies to make better decisions.
